What Is Wildcard Or Subject Alternative Names (Sans)?
Wildcard certificates secure a single domain and up to 250 subdomains. And now, every DigiCert certificate can be bought as a wildcard by adding SANs, so you can easily manage multiple subdomains and save. Here's an example:
Primary Domain: www.example.com
Subject Alternative Names (SANs): mail.example.com, blog.example.com, it.example.com, portal.example.com, hr.example.com, login.example.com, shop.example.com
How To Buy:

- 2. Choose your coverage length
- 3. Wildcard: Enter any Subject Alternative Names (SANs) you want secured*
